MUSIC FOR THE MOVIE

Set in 2003, Suburban Turban sets out to explore the transition of Indian fusion music to America. Successful, British/Indian Fusion artists and producers as Bally Sagoo, Rishi Rich, Nitin Sawhney, Talvin Singh have already established their own style and sounds in the UK and across Europe. Through a creative collaboration, a trend in America by mainstream artists such as Britney Spears and well-known rappers as Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot, looking to spice up their music, struck gold by combing musical and vocal strands of Indian Bollywood popular music in their tracks.
