Actor - Anjul Nigam

I am so pleased to announce our first actor attachment to Suburban Turban.  Anjul Nigam is slated to play the role of Kushwant Singh (Dad) in the movie.

I have known Anjul now for nearly 8 years.  We all know Anjul for his great sense of humor, but this character calls for depth and inner conflict.  Anjul read for the role of Kushwant at our staged reading in Hollywood, and he really moved the audience and impressed our visiting guests.  As writer/director, I can say that it was a treat to hear him, along with many other wonderful actors, read the material.  

A couple of years later, I invited Anjul again to workshop some scenes.  We had a lot of fun working through the material again.  So, now that I am embarking on “taking the leap of faith” again with Suburban Turban, there was no question in my mind who I would ask to play father in ST.  Anjul -- thank you for coming on board.  I look forward to working with you to create what will be a beautiful, inspirational film.
